Dr Hayder Hariri

Dr Hayder did his dental training at St Bart’s and The Royal London Hospitals, graduating with prizes for Outstanding Academic Achievement. He then continued his post graduate training in Complex Dentistry, Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry under the guidance of eminent professors and world renowned institutions.

In 2005, he passed entry examinations to become a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2006, he gained his Fellowship of the renowned US based International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Among his many other credentials, he is a Member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, and a Member of the UK based Faculty of General Dental Practice.

Sophie Henry

Dentist

Sophie is a very experienced dentist, having worked in NHS/private practice for 27 years. She came to Dentessentials in September 2016 having worked in a family practice in South London for 12 years – building good long term relationships with her patients is a priority.

She has a special interest in restorative dentistry, in particular taking a conservative, minimal intervention approach and a strong emphasis on prevention. Being an anxious patient herself, she endeavours to be very gentle with her patients and is happy to treat nervous patients and children.

Outside of her working life she enjoys spending time with her two teenage children and has a great passion for contemporary dance.

Dr Hayder Ameer

Dr Hayder Ameer has acquired a broad range of clinical skills through comprehensive postgraduate training in various dental specialities. Following completion of Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth in 2012, he was selected for vocational training at the prestigious UCL Eastman Scheme where he had hands-on training in modern approaches of restorative dentistry.

He aims to provide patients with a high standard of care delivered in a relaxed and a friendly manner. He has experience in dealing with complex surgical cases through working as a Senior House Officer at the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Ipswich Hospital. Dr Ameer has excellent communication skills and gentle approach having treated children and apprehensive patients during his work at Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospitals, Paediatric Dentistry Department.

Dr Ameer has passed both Diplomas of Membership at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng) and Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Ed). He has also presented his outstanding clinical cases and audits at international and national conferences and was awarded various prizes.

Being an artist, Dr Ameer dedicates time mastering the art of portraits. He also enjoys competitive running having recently completed the Manchester Marathon.
